Seine Songs passen eigentlich in gar keine Schublade, sind experimentierfreudig, wütend, melancholisch, quirky und saucool. Also ganz Oliver Malcolm eben. Der schwedische Shootingstar, der seite einiger Zeit in London seine Musikzelte aufgespannt hat, hat heute seine neue Single “The Jungle” veröffentlicht. 

Oliver Malcolm, übrigens ein Label-Kollege von Billie Eilish bei Darkroom Records, verwischt die Grenzen von Hip-Hop, Alternative und R & B und unterstreicht das Talent des 20-Jährigen für Genre-Blending-Produktion und Songwriting.

Bereits im Alter von 12 Jahren brachte sich Oliver Malcolm selbst das DJing bei und später auch das Produzieren. Es folgten Tracks mit Cee Lo Green, Jay Rock, Tinashe und Ari Lennox, IDK und Joey Bada$$. Oliver Malcolm ist ein Multitalent und mischt bei allem mit – von Produktion, Gesang, Songwriting, Engineering bis hin zu Mixing, Mastering sowie die visuelle Umsetzung der Videos.
